Lost property on a bus
Metlink has several operators and depots where lost property can end up. Fill in the lost property form, and we'll pass the message to the right people to look for your item. If they find your item, they’ll get in touch with you directly.
Lost property on the train
Items found anywhere on the Metlink rail network are sent to the Customer Service kiosk at Wellington Station. Fill in the lost property form, and we'll pass the message to the staff there. the Lost property is held for two weeks, then depending on the item, forwarded to the Police or charity.
You can also email lost.property@transdevnz.co.nz or call 04 498 3013 Monday to Thursday between 6.30 am and 7.30 pm, Friday between 6.30 am and 8.30 pm, Saturday and Sunday between 9.30 am and 4.30 pm.
