Got your Snapper card? Upcycle your full-price 10-trip ticket to your Snapper card at Wellington Station for use on bus or once Snapper is available on your rail line.
Snapper card will be introduced on the Kapiti line from early November, followed closely on the Hutt Valley, Melling and Wairarapa lines - expected by the end of November 2022.
To help customers get ready, Metlink is inviting rail customers that already have a Snapper card to start upcycling their full-price 10-trip tickets by swapping them for a top-up to the equal value on to their Snapper card. Customers can then choose to use the top-up now on a Metlink bus, the Johnsonville line OR to get ready with the top-up for use in November once Snapper is available.
Visit the Snapper ticket window at Wellington Station and our friendly staff will be able to assist them with the swap out process.
