Buses replacing interpeak trains during rail union meeting

Interpeak services on all rail lines will be bus replaced on Wednesday 19 August due to the annual general meeting of the Rail and Maritime Transport Union. 

Buses will replace trains from approximately 8.30am, with normal train services resuming on all lines from approximately 1.00pm.  

Metlink fully supports union members attending this important meeting and apologises for any inconvenience to passengers.  

Rail passengers intending to travel during the meeting are advised to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.
