Come along to Wellington Station on Wednesday 24 February to meet our managers, and get an update on KiwiRail’s programme of works to improve the Wairarapa Line.
Between 4pm and 5.30pm, KiwiRail will look to provide information on planned improvements, and be available to answer questions about project work. As you may know, their Wairarapa Line project work started in late 2020 and will be continuing over the next few years. The project includes drainage and vegetation work, replacing sleepers and rail, renewing bridges and upgrading level crossings. This would be a great time to come along and ask any questions. The Transdev Wellington and Metlink team will also be available to talk to you about Metlink services.
