Heading to Homegrown or the Super Rugby game?
On Saturday 20 March, Metlink will be running additional carriages to get people to Wellington City and additional train services after the events finish!
Before the event:
- We will have additional carriages on regular timetabled services on the Hutt Valley(external link), Kāpiti(external link) and Johnsonville(external link) lines throughout the day to help you to get into the Wellington city for the events.
After the event:
- There will be extra train services running all stops on the Hutt Valley(external link), Kāpiti(external link) and Johnsonville(external link) lines, departing Wellington between 09:15pm and 12:00am.
Final services on the evening are as follows:
- Kāpiti Line – 1:14am
- Hutt Valley Line – 1:05am
- Johnsonville Line – 1:02am
What does this mean for ticketing?
Standard fares will still apply so please have your ticket ready for inspection.
Event tickets will also be available on train services and at ticket offices for purchase on the day.
