New bus stop layout for Paraparaumu Station
We have introduced a new bus stop layout at Paraparaumu Station.
From 15 July all Metlink bus services will depart from the two bus bays in front of the station near the main road.
- Services stopping at Bus Stop A: routes 250, 251, 260, 264, 280, 290, school services and southbound rail replacement bus services
- Services stopping at Bus Stop B: routes 261 and 262

The ticket office at Paraparaumu Station is open from:

Single fares can be purchased from the staff on the train with cash (no EFTPOS). Correct change is appreciated.
There are toilet facilities at the station. Opening hours are the same as for the ticket office.

There are Park & Ride facilities at Paraparaumu Station.
Paraparaumu station is an interchange to a number of bus services to Raumati South, Paraparaumu Beach, Waikanae and school buses to Kapiti College.

Buses replacing trains stop
Paraparaumu Station has extensive facilities for cycles with spaces for 44 in a locker and cycle racks.
Cycles can be carried on trains free of charge, without reservations, and on a first-come, first served basis except on these peak hour services on the Kapiti Line:
