Planned disruptions are subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Updates will be posted as soon as possible. We recommend turning on notifications for service alerts in your Metlink app account.
The Park & Ride will be closed from Monday 12 to Friday 16 January to allow the car park to be resurfaced.
During this time, the nearby car park with 45 spaces will be available to use. Alternatively, head to Mana, Paremata or Porirua Station Park & Ride and travel from there.
Pedestrian access from the Park & Ride to the station will be restricted but still open on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 January but then closed until Friday 16 January.
From Wednesday 14 January, alternate access to the station is 300m south on St Andrews Road (SH 59). The station underpass remains open between all platforms.
Access to the public toilet will also remain open via the station underpass.

What is happening?
Ghuznee Street will be closed between Victoria Street and Marion Street so that Wellington City Council can complete a coordinated program of essential upgrades.
Will any stops on Ghuznee Street be closed for the detour?
Yes, two stops will be closed during road closure.

Passengers who normally use stop 7912 near Able Smith Street will now need to use 7913 opposite Wellington High School.
Passengers who normally use 6909 on Ghuznee Street, can use either 6908 further down Ghuznee St at Willis Street, or use stop 6911 on Taranaki Street.

What is happening?
Rahui Road closed at Main Hwy due to installation of new wastewater manholes.
How will it impact the Route 290 and school bus Route 509?
Bus 290 and 509 will travel around Ōtaki Plateau one-way loop in the opposite direction to usual.
Buses on the new detour travelling in the opposite direction may run at slightly different times as scheduled.
Congestion is likely, so please allow extra time for your journey.

Route 290 and Route 509 buses travelling to Ōtaki Plateau follow a detour via County Road.
Buses travelling along Main Hwy (Old SH1) detour right into Waitohu Valley Rd, right into Dittmer St, right into Te Manuao Rd, left onto Main Hwy (Old SH1), left into County Rd, Left onto Rahui Rd, left onto Freemans Rd, left into Te Manuao Rd, left onto Main Hwy, straight over the roundabout at Mill Rd, detouring via Dunstan St to Mill Rd.
