News > Website improvements - Effective from Tuesday 2 March 2010

Posted on 02/03/2010 12:00am

We would like to say thank you to everyone who gave us feedback about our new website.

Your feedback has helped us to improve our site even more. The following new improvements were made to the website on Tuesday 2 March;

  • Google street view has been introduced into the 'Your Stop Info' results page. These will be updated and loaded gradually over the next couple of months.
  • The 'Your Stop Info' results page has also been amended to allow users to view bus departure times by destination.
  • Routes have been re-grouped so that related timetables can be viewed together.
  • The journey planner tool has been changed so it remains open with the drop down boxes populated from the original query. This allows the journey to be amended without having to retype all of the information.
  • A reverse journey option has been added to the journey planner tool when journey planner results are displayed.
  • A 'jump to current time' link has been added into timetables page.

We would love to hear from you about what you think about these changes, or any other feedback you have about the Metlink website. The best way to give us feedback is by using our website feedback form.
