Monday 27 September to Saturday 27 November 2010

Southbound routes will follow a normal route until they reach the Wakefield Street and lower Cuba Street intersection where they will proceed along Wakefield Street stopping by the Michael Fowler Car Park. Buses will then take a right turn up Taranaki Street and left into Courtenay Place (Except routes 10, 11 and 21) and continue their normal routes.

Northbound routes towards the station from Courtenay Place will not be affected.

Please note during this time the overhead wires in some areas will not be working so trolley buses will be stopping to de-pole and re-pole. We are making every effort to ensure running times are not affected, including having people de-pole and re-pole the buses so the driver doesn't need to leave the bus.

Normal Cuba Street departure times will be observed at the new bus stop on Wakefield Street by the Michael Fowler Car Park.

From Sunday 28 November 2010

From 5.30am on Sunday 28 November the new Golen Mile bus route will take effect.

Wakefield Street bus stop - only Route 24, 92 and 93 will use this stop. All other buses will use the new bus stop located on Manners Street at the corner of Cuba Street, outside Burger King.

Dixon Street bus stop - this bus stop is closing, your new bus stop is located on Manners Street at the corner of Cuba Street, outside Arty Bees.
